PVA is widely used in warp sizing for filament yarns such as rayon, nylon and polyester, though oiling is merely adopted for certain kind of filament yarn.
Practical size recipe (selection of size) should be determined experimentally according to different conditions at each mill, i.e. sizing machine, weaving condition or construction of fabric.
