Test Methods
The film pieces are clipped to a slide mount at 6 cm on each sides, which have been hollowed out 3 cm, and are immersed in distilled water at 10 and 20 and stirred by a magnetic stirrer.
The time that the film begins to break apart (BT) and completely dissolves (DT) is measured.
* Film thickness vs. Dissolving time
If the examination conditions are identical, in the dissolving time of the film, it is proportion to the square of the thickness.
